The last two GB boards gave me fits until I finally replaced them. I should have known better. I'm not even getting lights on the board that it's getting a signal. It's dead on the board, just like many said on newegg.

I should have listened, but nooooo. I spent another 14 hours today trying to fix it. I'm sick and tired of all this. It drops the driver at every bootup?

It won;t even do that now. I've tried win xp32, 64, win 7 and several fresh installs of each. I have pci-e locked at but I'm not convinced it's locked and maybe it's corrupting the driver once I overclock.
I'm using a usb right now to type this, but even it fails, so I have to uninstall the driver then restart, even that does not work all the time, so I have to uninstall the device not just the driver. The only thing I do know is this is my 3rd GB motherboard and the last two ended up in the trash and this one looks like it's headed that same way. My 's Gigabyte gigalan lan still works: I went through 6 GX's with my when they first cam JMicron JMB36X Host Controller eSATA WriteCacheDisabled.
D After the Sixth one , they finally sent me a newer revision. I then sold it to my friend for half price and he clocked his to 3.

I still like Biostar i just hate some of thier Mobos lol. To each thier ownbut i must say ,RMA so you arnt wasting a mobo.
To think one could buy the New RMA from you. Then you can use that dough on new Mobo.
UdP4's are nicei think you just got a bum one. When i set HT multi to x13 and nb multi to x12 it instead uses x13 multi to both of them.

What do you think about this" this card in the blue pci-e slot and decided to try it in the orange pci-e and when I did the Lan powered up and connected.
Could this have been my whole issue all along? You want to try and keep your HT to and your NB as high as it will go. I can do NB, some people can get higher, some lower. No im not confusing it with Nb: But ive read it somewhere.
The chipset limitation isx2. Although just increasing htt is surely not good. Why becuase youll flood error the Mobo in most cases. But over time it too will Flood Error once the HT becomes unstable.
