M-AUDIO OXYGEN MIDI KEYBOARD CUBASE DIRECTLINK DRIVER
As for the encoder values jumping I can confirm that it happens here, too. I have seen similar behaviour in ordinary mapped controls i. I'll look into it, though, as if there are erroneous values being sent out it should be child's play to filter them out. As for the numbers out of step, that is most likely to be differences between the way I am rounding the numbers and the way that REAPER is rounding - M-Audio Oxygen MIDI Keyboard Cubase DirectLink number displayed is the number read back from the FX multiplied by I suspect that casting a double to an int is only truncating instead of rounding.
I'll get that fixed. There is a bug in the faders that I keep meaning fix, but nobody's spotted that one yet: When I saw pan jump the wrong way, sure enough there was an 0x01 increment in the data stream instead of a 0x7F decrement.
Not much I can do about that I'm afraid. For the large jumps I can just interpret all messages between 0x40 and 0x7F as decrements and 0x00 and 0x3F as increments. Looking at the data suggest that this won't actually have a great deal of impact on the feel of the encoders, which is how I already do it M-Audio Oxygen MIDI Keyboard Cubase DirectLink pan. I'll post a fix later. I'm being nagged to go shopping right now: This information makes it quite trivial to filter out the spurious data. I've also fixed the fader bug that nobody noticed ; Driver version 1.
Transport buttons work very well now and encoder knobs seem to be accurate. It is still quite a lot of work to setup but I think it is worth it.
It would be amazing if the Program name could be shown in the Axiom display. Maybe the reabank files could be somehow linked to the controls in mapping editor and then then the directlink driver could read the Program names from the reabank file and show the text in Axiom display.
Another idea to make VI sound selection more user friendly: I noticed it but forgot to report it. I could probably mitigate that by doing some sort of averaging but that would introduce more lag which would likely start to become more noticeable.

Interesting additional ideas, which I shall mull over, but now all the known bugs are ironed out I am going to have a break from it for a bit. After all, I need to go to work and to make music: Do you have a Visual Studio project you could share?

Also, could you share the Mapping Editor source code?
